An Ancient Ryukyu Ritual
For five hundred years, Okinawan court physicians prescribed autumn turmeric tea as a daily restorative - before feasts, after travel, to balance the body's heat. The recipe survived the fall of the Ryukyu Kingdom and the modern reinvention of Okinawa. Today's Kangen Ukon® Tea is that same unbroken tradition.

Grown in Yanbaru
Our tea comes from turmeric cultivated in Yanbaru - Okinawa's lush northern forest - where volcanic soil and sub-tropical rain produce a root richer in curcumin than anywhere else. Every crop is grown without pesticides or chemicals, the same as our supplement and soap.

Autumn-Harvested Ukon
Where our supplement blends spring and autumn varieties, the tea is pure autumn turmeric - slower-growing, deeper in curcumin, and with the earthy bittersweet flavor Okinawans have prized for generations. The root is sliced, dried, and ground at the same facility as our supplement, so every bag carries the same provenance.
